Changing the system that allows modern slavery takes patient, structural work. Submissions. Advisory committees. Evidence. Follow-up with MP offices. It rarely makes the news, but it's what actually shifts how an economy operates.

What we're asking the Government to do
Close loopholes Require companies to actually check their supply chains for modern slavery, not just write reports about them. The Act asks for reporting; we want it to require action.
Improve enforcement Give the regulator the powers and resources to hold non-compliant companies accountable, with proper pathways to justice for the people affected. Rules without enforcement just become paperwork.
Ensure transparency Publish a list of high-risk products and regions, and make import data public, so companies stop pouring money into figuring out where the risk is and start spending it on fixing it.
