What do your workers think of their working conditions? MillionMakers™ is a Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) platform. We help workers to help you by creating the data you need as evidence. Thousands of data points at a fraction of the cost of traditional, sampled, snapshot social audits.

As a sponsoring business, you get an aggregated data report of survey responses scored against ILO indicators for forced labour, helping you to verify outcomes of social audits and prove to your stakeholders of your claims of worker safety and any remedies.

Million Makers can be deployed in any country, community, specific geographical location, or industry. It can be configured in any language covered by Google Translate.

How does it work?

  1. Workers opt-in via a secure website. MillionMakers™ set up the survey, and work with local NGO’s or if you have direct factory access, work with you to disseminate the QR code, then the “network” effect takes over, with workers sharing the invitation to peers directly, allowing the program to scale without intermediaries.

  2. Workers complete a daily survey over a period of 5-14 days. Survey questions are correlated to ILO Forced Labour indicators, and gathers high-value, high-volume data not a snapshot, discrete, sampled-based audit.

  3. Workers are paid directly to the mobile wallet of the mobile phone they used to respond to the survey.

How much does it cost?

Cost varies on the locations you choose and is determined by two variables:

  1. The current daily wage of the workers you are targeting. We recommend one day’s wage per worker at the completion of the survey.

  2. Number of workers you want data from.

Using our calculator, we can work out an exact cost. Our cost structure is transparent.

80% of your total budget is to pay workers directly for the data they provide and license to you.

Who owns the data collected by MillionMakers™?

Each worker owns the data (responses) they provide.

MillionMakers™ licenses a one-time use of data in aggregate from workers to create a report for you about working conditions.

MillionMakers™ pays workers for a license to use their data to prepare a report.

The workers own their data, the company owns the report, and MillionMakers™ is the broker between the parties.
